We provide an effective, unhurried, high quality approach to the individualised management of endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain. To ensure this service is sustainable, we are unfortunately unable to bulk bill. Please see our fees list below.
All patients coming through our Endometriosis and Persistent Pelvic Pain clinic will be seen for an initial comprehensive consultation with one of our Specialist GPs. We find that, in general, people with a history of endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain have a very complex and nuanced history, and we find it vital to spend a good amount of time discussing and exploring this.
After this first appointment, most patients will be invited for a Planning appointment, with time spent between nurse and GP. This involves a review of the current situation, development of a plan, the identification of a multi-disciplinary team and drafting of an individualised Endo Action Plan. These planning appointments are offered quarterly and attract no out-of-pocket fees.
Our nurse generally offers a telehealth check-in 6 weeks after the Planning appointment to see how things are tracking and provide further support. There are no out-of-pocket fees for this service. Our nurse is also available during business hours for email support, also offered without out-of-pocket fees.
If needed, your GP can also arrange for your case to be discussed at a monthly multidisciplinary team meeting. This process also occurs without out-of-pocket fees.
From time to time you may need to see your GP for further assessment and consultation. These appointments attract fees as set out below.
If you are referred to Allied Health providers during your planning appointment, you are likely to be able to access some extra medicare rebates, although there is usually an out-of-pocket fee too.
