Thrive Family Practice is happy to see patients with endometriosis and/or persistent pelvic pain. Patients can self refer, or can be referred in by their healthcare provider.
*Please note however, that demand for our service is very high and we operate a wait list.

Mirena/LARC Clinic: clinician or self referral
Thrive's LARC Assessment & Procedure Service provides a simple shared-care pathway for GPs referring patients for routine Mirena®, Kyleena®, Copper IUD and Implanon procedures. We assess suitability, provide counselling and informed consent, prescribe the device where required, and perform the procedure Following treatment, patients are returned to the care of their usual GP.

Iron infusion: clinician referral only.
Thrive offers a shared-care iron infusion service for patients requiring intravenous iron replacement. With a referral, prescription and recent pathology, patients can usually be booked directly for infusion.
We communicate the treatment provided and any recommendations back to the referring clinician, allowing ongoing care to continue in their usual practice.
